Planning The Dream Weddings
Everyone has different ideas on the perfect way to get married. It's important to remember that the day belongs to the bride and groom. Sometimes, parents can take over the arrangements and the couple feels that it's not their day anymore. Dream weddings are the ones that are a personal statement by the couple involved.
There are so many options available now, concerning the location for the ceremony. Some people like a traditional church wedding with all the trimmings and some prefer a civil ceremony. There have been some wacky choices recently in the news. Couples have got married on a roller coaster, on the London Millennium Eye and underwater! Others have taken their vows on the pitch of their favorite sports stadium. Dream weddings to some would be a disaster for others.
It's important to budget and stick to it as it's all too easy to get carried away. A lot of people opt to marry in the garden of their own home. This is a nice idea as long as there is enough room for all the guests. The wedding party will feel relaxed in familiar surroundings and it will have an intimate feel. Marquees can be set up and it can look very festive. There should be an indoors alternative in case the weather breaks. Dream weddings need to be dry affairs.
All the components contribute to the perfect day; the food, the music, the flowers and the photographer. Attention to detail will make everyone feel special. There is no need to release doves or hire Pavarotti. Sometimes, simple is best and more elegant.
Some couples like to jet off to the Caribbean or Mexico for an exotic beach wedding. This will certainly make for some great photo opportunities, and the couple can stay on for an idyllic honeymoon. Others prefer a lively ceremony in Las Vegas, to the tune of Love Me Tender. Dream weddings are whatever floats your boat.
Personalizing a wedding is not hard to do. A lot of couples compose their own vows. The music doesn't have to be religious, even in church. One couple walked away to sign the registry as Nothing Else Matters by Metallica played softly in the background. If the couple wants to get married in their pajamas, then so be it. Another couple organized a wedding lunch buffet to be taken on a traveling steam train, which the guests enjoyed enormously. Dream weddings are the ones that stay in the mind for a long time.
